Product
images are an important tool in selling
your products online.
1.
Product images should be clean,
clear and optimized.
2. A products image size is
important. If images are too big,
your pages take too long to load. If
images are too small, your viewers
will not be interested.
3. The required image formats for
uploading to the Primware site
builder are GIF AND JPG. Use gif
format for images without
backgrounds and jpg for images with
backgrounds.
4. When creating two sizes of the
same image, create the large image
first and then resize to the smaller
version.
5. Name your images in a search
engine friendly way. Create names
that are unique to each product.
6.
Crate all images and save to a
special folder on your computer for
uploading to your site builder.
7. We can not say this enough... You
want fast loading pages, or your
will loose customers. Do you wait
for pages on other sites that take
too long to upload? We don't either,
so please try to stay with in our
recommendation guidelines.
Creating
Your Product Images - Take a
clear close-ups
Use a tripod stand to keep
your images level. We
recommend that you take all
photos from the horizontal
position, so that all images
will be the same width when
it comes time to resize.
Select an uncomplicated background that does not compete with your
product image. Use a front
lighting source. Do not have
the light source coming from
behind your product. Good lighting not only ensures a successful photo, but also conveys
depth and detail to your
product images.
Once you have created your
product images, you will
need to resize them. We
recommend the following
resizes. Large product image
350 pixels in width. Save
your large image giving it a
unique search engine friendly
name and then resize the
large image to 150 pixels.
See more details below for naming
your product images. |

description, and then size of image.
It is very important to create a unique name
for each of your product images. |
